Hand Dyed BFL Sock Yarn is a fingering weight blend of 80% Superwash BFL and 20% Nylon. It’s a high twist yarn, designed to withstand wear making it perfect for socks, mittens, gloves and other accessories.

Description

Superwash Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) with nylon commercially spun with a high twist.

Hand Dyed BFL Sock Yarn is a fingering weight blend of 80% Superwash BFL and 20% Nylon. It’s a high twist yarn, designed to withstand wear making it perfect for socks, mittens, gloves and other accessories.

  • Fibre Content: 80% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester (BFL), 20% Nylon
  • Skein weight: 100 g
  • Approximate length: 365 m
  • Yarn Weight:  2 ply high twist sock yarn.
  • Recommended Needle Size 2.5-2.75 mm

I use professional grade acid dye which has minimum impact on the environment.

Keep in mind, while I try to photograph the yarn true to colour, please remember that all monitors are different.

Care instructions:

Superwash Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) with nylon commercially spun with a high twist. This yarn is machine washable at 30 deg Celsius. Please wash with similar coloured items. Colours may run slightly for the first few washes.

Hand dyed colours last longer with hand washing. Dry flat. Hand washing will prolong the life of your finished garment.
