Returns, Refunds, and Fixing Mistakes

The Knitting Squirrel does her best to check every product as it is chosen for fulfilling your order. Then, she checks each product against the packing list as it is being packaged.

As I’m human, inevitably, there will occasionally be a human error! If this happens, the Knitting Squirrel is happy to take back damaged or faulty goods and refund your money.

If you’ve changed your mind or the colour of the yarn is not what you expected, the Knitting Squirrel will accept them back in saleable condition within 28 days of delivery. This means they must have been kept in a clean, dry, smoke free environment. Yarn must have ball bands/labels intact. Needles must be unopened in their original packaging.

The Knitting Squirrel will refund the full cost of your order (excluding postage and packing) but you must pay for the cost of returning the goods. It is wise to obtain a certificate of posting from your post office so that you can claim compensation from Royal Mail if the parcel does not reach the Knitting Squirrel.

Please Include in your Return Package

In your return package make sure that you include, your name, order number, why you are returning the goods and whether you want an exchange or a refund. Please ensure that the parcel is well packed and sealed.

Cancelling Your Order

If you wish to cancel your order at any point before the Knitting Squirrel dispatches it please contact me by email as soon as possible.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
