Opal Black Dragon 2 Fantasy Island Sock Yarn is a 4ply sock yarn made from 75% wool and 25% nylon.
- Fibre content: 75% wool, 25% nylon
- Ball size: 100 grams
- Approximate length: 425 metres
- Recommended needle size: 2.5mm
- Mulesing Free
- Care: Machine washable but it is always wise to follow the care instructions on the ball band.

Information about Opal Black Dragon – Mouliné Flame
With our new collection Opal Black Dragon, we combine the fascinating possibilities of the spinning technique with the high dyeing art of our Ambiènte-Color-Process.
In our Black Dragon collection, one thread of single yarn is dyed black in advance and then twisted with three other white single threads. However, this is not a classic mouliné, but a so-called flamed mouliné. This means that the mouliné effect first increases, remains present and then decreases again (see photo).
This creates an additional exciting and varied contrast to the classic Mouliné, which always remains present.
Afterwards, the finished yarn is dyed again completely in different shades and a new, chequered pattern in many different effects and depths is created.
